DTMF-4HC

DTMF-4HC DTMF-4HC is an inexpensive, self contained, DTMF (dual tone multiple frequency) decoder board which permits users to control remotely, via radio or other audio producing source, the on or off state of four high current devices. For larger applications several DTMF-4HC boards can be attached to the same control audio source to control dozens of devices. DTMF-4HC supports four modes of operation. These mode settings control how the DTMF-4HC behaves.

YellowBill Configuration

After installation, you will be prompted to automatically search for your SNTP server. This is assuming that you have a SNTP or NTP server (like Cuckoo)

on your local subnet. If not, you'll have to enter your NTP server's address manually. Right-click on the YellowBill icon in the system tray (), and

select Server Settings... Enter your server's address in the Primary Server box and click OK.

Secondary servers are not used for time synchronization, but just for statistics and logging.

Server Statistics

YellowBill collects infomation about the difference between your PC's clock and the time server, as well as the latency in getting those packets.

You can display that information at any time by selecting YellowBill's Statistics dialog. Note that each one of the deltas is computed by subtracting

the time from the primary server, so the primary server will always display with a zero delta.

Logging Configuration

This lets you log information, and errors, and optionally the detalis of the packets sent and received. You can also save all the

important information about each server packet sent and received in a CSV (comma separated variable) format for import into

Excel or other programs for analysis.

An example of the data format collected by the CSV data logging:

Test Packets

This give the ability to see exactly what is being received from any NTP or SNTP server. Just enter the name of the server, and click Send Packet.

The received packet will be displayed in the NTP Packet Details, and various statistics about the packet are in Computed Stats.

Monitor Configuration

Yellowbill can report whenever there is a GPS outage on your servers. The conditions that can be configured are varied, from timeout of packets to

recovery, exceeding a specified latency, etc., and the command-line that runs is also completely configurable with all of the details of the server and time packet.

Status Bar Icons

YellowBill shows one of three icons in the system tray.

The green icon indicates that everything is well and the last time requests was successful.

This icon temporarily flashes to a blue icon when YellowBill is actively contacting the time server.

If the icon changes to a red "No" icon, it means that YellowBill is not getting a response from the server.
